Kathleen Grillo is senior vice president - Federal Regulatory and Legal Affairs. She is responsible for directing the company’s legal and public policy positions before federal government agencies on a wide range of communications issues, including spectrum policy, Internet governance, and related federal appellate court proceedings. She previously served as the head of Verizon’s Federal Regulatory Affairs organization, where she was responsible for Verizon’s policy initiatives before the Federal Communications Commission.
Ms. Grillo joined the company in June 2002 as counsel in the legal department’s federal regulatory group. She joined the federal regulatory affairs organization in 2003, where she represented Verizon at the Federal Communications Commission. Prior to joining the company, she was in private practice at Williams & Connolly, a Washington, D.C.-based law firm.
